Issued by Jim Boyd on behalf of the following fisheries on Monday 16 November 2015. The report is for the week ending Sunday, 15 November 2015.

2. FORBES OF KINGENNIE (Broughty Ferry) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

3. ORCHILL LOCH (Braco) Last week only a few brave anglers have weathered the rain and wind. Black and green have been the best colours and the fish have been getting caught in the first 2 - 3 feet.
The Ferry Fly Dressers AC had an outing on Saturday catching 16 fish for 57lbs 12oz – best 6lbs. Henry Sommerville from Larbert had 3 for 12lbs 8oz on a Black & Green Fritz, Russell McKendrick, Alva, 2 for 8lbs on an Orange Bug, Tom Adams,Alva, 2 for 5lbs 4oz and J. Millar from Glasgow used a Hulk to catch a brace weighing 8lbs. Allan Ford from Milnathort had 4 fish for 13lbs on a Black Fritz, Andy Templeman, Blair Atholl, 3 for 12lbs 12oz on a Coral Damsel, William Pettie, Leslie, used an Allay to catch 3 for 10lbs 12oz and Laurie Rumgay from Perth had 2 for 9lbs on a Black Lure. Liz Fraser from Edinburgh took a nice brace weighing in at 11lbs.

4. MARKLE (East Lothian) Bruce Hunter from Edinburgh used a Black & Olive lure to bag the fish of the week – a beauty of 16lbs, Tommy Dickson, Dunbar, had 1 at 15lbs 8oz on a Black & Peacock Spider and George Hill from Edinburgh had 4 on a Green Peter with the heaviest weighing in at 14lbs 8oz. Ken Morrison from Edinburgh used a Diawl Bach to take 7, Eddie Peden, Pentcaitland, 15 on a Black & Silver Buzzer, Paul Kennedy Haddington 8 on a Black & Silver Buzzer and the Fritz & Fly Club from Northumbria had 44 fish from their 12 rods with the winner being Willie Munn with 9 fish on an Apps Bloodworm.

5. SWANSWATER (Stirling) After some pretty horrific weather at Swanswater which saw around six and a half inches of rain fall over the course of the week, the water level was left high with slight colouration. Despite this the clarity wasn’t bad enough to affect the fishing and anglers were still able to see a couple of feet into the water - this lead to some excellent fishing for the brave souls who ventured out in the wind and rain. Like previous weeks fish are still being taken near the surface with floating lines being most effective, with fish looking for a medium to fast retrieve.  A mix of lures proved most successful with black and green proving to be the best colour. Nymphs such a Diawl Bach were also enticing fish.
Alan Whitton, Stirling, 4 for 17lb 4oz including a 7lb 13oz Blue, Tam Baillie, Kincardine, in two visits, 9 for 27lb 12oz, Gregor McGregor, Falkirk, in two visits, 6 for 19lb 12oz plus 5 caught and released, Ricky Goodwin, Larbert, 4 for 13lb 8oz plus 2 caught and released and Steven and young son Liam Mullen, Pitlochry, shared 4 for 12lb. John Knox, Crossgates, 4 for 12lb plus two Browns caught and released, Eddie A’Hara, 3 for 11lb 4oz, Robert Baillie, Dunfermline, 3 for 9lb 12oz, John Mathieson, Falkirk, 3 for 9lb 12oz and Alan Burke, Falkirk, 3 for 9lb 4oz. Gary Waugh, Cumbernauld, in two visits, had 24 caught and released, Sinclair Grant, Cambusbarron, 2 for 6lb 8oz plus 4 caught and released and Steven Goldie, Falkirk, 2 for 6lb.
