2. FORBES OF KINGENNIE (Broughty Ferry) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

3. MARKLE FISHERY (East Lothian) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

4. HOLL FISHERY NO REPORT THIS WEEK.

5. MORTON FISHERY (Livingston) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

6. ORCHILL LOCH (Braco) It was a very quiet week again with extremes of weather

really disrupting things very badly. However there have been a few anglers visiting

who have caught fish mainly by using a floating line with a Goldhead retrieved very,

very slowly.

Scot Donachie from Crook of Devon used a Buzzer to take a nice fish of 4lbs 8oz,

Craig McEwan, Clackmannan 4 for 10lbs on a Gold & Black lure,

Tullibody, 3 for 9lbs 8oz on a Yellow Dancer and Brian Hardie, Camelon, 3 for 8lbs

8oz on a Pink Fritz. Craig MacDonald from Kinross had a brace weighing 5lbs on a

Yellow Dancer and Jeff Thomson, Blackford, 3 for 8lbs on a Yellow Fritz.

8. SWANSWATER (Stirling) The fishing continues to be excellent despite the stormy

conditions.

Those who braved the weather were well rewarded this week with

several big fish being taken in addition to the usual Rainbows, Blues and Tigers.

The bulk of the fish were either in the far bay or in the channel in front of the island,

with most of the Tigers being landed round the back of the islands.

being caught at various depths between 2 and 5 feet and taking a variety of lures

and nymphs including Dancer, Cat’s Whisker, Humungus, Damsel, Diawl Bach and

Hare’s Ear.

Fishery can stay open even if the temperature drops.

including 8lb 13oz Rainbow, a Blue and a Tiger and Ian Watt, Bellshill, 2 for 11lb 4oz

including 7lb 10oz Blue. Andy Hunter, Alloa, 3 for 15lb 4oz including 2 Blues, bigger

one at 7lb 6oz, William Bond, Edinburgh, 2 for 7lb 12oz including 5lb 12oz Rainbow

and a Tiger, Danny Doherty, Denny, 5 for 18lb 4oz including 3 Blues, biggest one

at 5lb 4oz, George Kochanek, Tullibody, 4 for 14lb including 5lb 4oz Rainbow and

a Blue and Charles Campbell, Falkirk, 5 for 13lb 8oz including a Blue and a Tiger.

Ian Dobbie, Larbert, 4 for 12lb 4oz including 2 Blues, John Patrick, Kilsyth, 4 for 12lb

including 2 Blues, Brian Hunter, Cumbernauld, 3 for 9oz, Alan Whitton, Stirling, 3 for

8lb 4oz including 2 Blues and a Tiger and Malcolm Miller, Clackmannan, 2 for 6lb

8oz including a Blue. Last but not least Ronnie Fisher from Tullibody caught 2 for 6lb

4oz.

9. LOCH VENACHAR (Trossachs) As can be imagined the wilds of Perthshire took

a real battering last week with the wild gales and excessive rain wreaking havoc on

the fishing. Hopefully things will calm down and Venachar will be back again in full

flight producing a quality of winter pike fishing that is hard to beat.
