LATE REPORT
MARKLE (East Lothian) Although last week was relatively quiet in angler numbers some big fish were caught. Jack Stevenson from Ormiston used a Buzzer to take one at 15lbs and this was the heaviest of the week. Tommy Dickson from Dunbar took one at 12lbs on a Dancer, Phillip Hoskins and a 12lb rainbow as well as cracking 10lb brown trout both taken on a Sedge and Paul Rae from Hawick took a fine rainbow of 11lbs 12oz on a Cruncher. Also doing well were Bruce Hunter from Edinburgh who used a Damsel to bag one at 11lbs 8oz, Jackie Hay, Haddington, one at 8lbs on a Cat’s Whisker and John Butler from Pathead had one at 8lbs on a Buzzer.
