All areas of the loch are presently fishing well and the top taking lures include the Fritz Damsel, Cormorant and the Yellow Dancer.

 3. FORBES OF KINGENNIE (Broughty Ferry) The fishing last week at Kingennie has been on great form. This warmer weather is making all the difference with the buzzer fishing is really starting to come into its own on all the ponds. The water clarity in all the ponds is very good witch is really helping the fishing. The osprey is continuing to come regularly putting on a great display for those lucky enough to see it diving to take a fish.

The Boathouse Pool continues to fish really well, the water is absolutely gin clear which is making spotting fish very easy. They are coming out to a number of flies including the Hot Head Damsel, Cat’s Whisker and the Orange Fritz. Small Olive Buzzers and Diawl Bachs have also taken plenty of fish. The average size is still around the 5lb mark witch are proving to be very popular for there fighting abilities.

The Burnside Pool continues to be popular with the anglers, with most rods getting there limit. There have also been some big numbers of fish caught and released, with bags of 15-20 fish caught in four hours. The top method by far has been buzzers in various colours and sizes. There have also been a quite a lot of blues coming out recently which have proved very popular

The Bankside Pool has also continued to fish well to buzzers of various sizes and colours but size 12 olive and brown seem to be the most successful. There are still plenty fish getting caught on the lures with the White Polar Bear and the Black & Green Fritz taking good numbers of fish. The dry fly has taken a few fish when the conditions suit with small shuttlecocks being the favoured pattern

The Woodside Pool continues to produce lots of fish with most anglers managing to get there fish. The best method has been the worm under the bubble float or the spinner but most methods are getting amongst the fish.
