The following reports are for the week ending Sunday, 22 July, 2012.

1. FRANDY (Gleneagles) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

2. FORBES OF KINGENNIE (Broughty Ferry) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

3. MARKLE (East Lothian) LATE REPORT TO FOLLOW

4. MORTON LOCH (Livingston) NO REPORT THIS WEEK

5. ORCHILL LOCH (Braco) The fish have been taking a wide variety of flies again

with small buzzers and dries giving the most sport. The amount of fly life on the

water just now makes it more interesting for the anglers just to see what you have to

use to tempt the fish. Ray Lovell from Tillicoultry took a brace weighing 8lbs – best

6lbs on a Moggy, Allan Stirling, Auchterarder, 3 for 12lbs on Sedge, Graham King,

Almondbank, 3 fish for 9lbs on the Invicta & Bibio and Jim O'Neil, Stirling, 2 for 8lbs

on a Hare’s Ear. Dean Parker from Auchterarder had 2 fish for 6lbs on Buzzers,

Rickie Kerr, Fallin, 3 for 9lbs on Snatchers, Errol Feighan, Bonnybridge, 4 for 12lbs

4oz on Dries and Graeme Shirlaw from Tullibody took 4 fish for 14lbs 8oz on a

Yellow Dancer. Gary Mellon from Tullibody took 4 fish weighing 12lbs4oz on a

Yellow Dancer, Craig Wilson, Tullibody, 2 for 6lbs 8oz on a Yellow Dancer, Davy

Black, Lochgelly, 3 for 9lbs on a Bloodworm and Jim Kelly from Airdrie landed 3

for 9lbs 8oz on Beetles. R Grant from Perth caught a brace for 6lbs on Mill Bugs,

Cameron Smith (11 years old) had a great catch taking 2 fish for a whopping 10lbs

on Nymphs and another youngster, Mathew Beattie ( 9 years old) used a Buzzer to

take a nice fish of 2lbs 12oz.

6. SWANSWATER (Stirling) A lot of fish have been seen cruising in the top 12 to

18 inches of the water this week, although not many of them were breaking the

Balloch, 4 Tigers for 11lb 8oz, Jim Allan, Kilsyth, 4 Tigers for 10lb 12oz and Andy

Tervit, 2 Blues for 6lb. Stuart Sutherland, 2 Blues for 6lb 4oz. Last but not least year

old Josh Nicholson caught a fine 4lb 4oz Rainbow.
