FRANDY (Gleneagles) Fishing from the bank the following individuals did well with Gerry Grattan from Kincardine keeping 2 fish weighing 7lbs, Jim Donnelly (Tullibody) 2 fish weighing 4lbs, Glen Mackie (Dunfermline) caught and released 4, Paul Mondor (Auchterarder) had 2 fish for 4lbs 8oz, Raymond Pirrie (Tullibody) 7 c/r and Andy Hunter from Alloa had 5 c/r.
On the individual boat fishing front Kenny Baird & Colin Henderson from Tillicoultry kept 8 fish weighing 16lbs, Colin McLuckie & John Hamilton (Glen Devon) kept 5 fish weighing 12lbs, Jim Watson & Dave Gonsales (Auchtermuchty) kept 5 weighing 9lbs, Louis Hansen & Stan Guzik from Alloa retained 4 fish weighing 7lbs 12oz and also had 4 on c/r.
The angling clubs did well with Police Scotland (West) having 21 fish weighing 43lbs 3oz, Gartcosh A/C 32 fish for 59lbs, Catch 22 A/C kept 5 fish weighing 8lbs, Caley Liners A/C caught released 27 and the Dunfermline Artisans kept 9 fish weighing 15lbs 10oz.
The best flies last week were the Hot Head Damsel, Sedge Muddler and the Daddy Longlegs whilst the best fishing areas were from the middle to the far shore
ORCHILL TROUT FISHERY (Braco) David Dye from Glendevon had 2 fish for 9lbs - best 6lbs on a Yellow Dancer, Hector Wilson (Bannockburn) 3 fish for 10lbs 8oz – best 5lbs on Dries, Ally Sangster (Blackford) 2 fish for 7lbs on Buzzers, David Lewis (Larbert) 3 fish for 10lbs 8oz on a Yellow Dancer and Allan Mitchell from Stirling used a Yellow Owl to catch 3 weighing 9lbs 12oz. Graham Russell from Dunblane had 1 for 4lbs on a Red Humpty, C Findlater (Stirling) 3 fish for 10lbs 4oz on Snake & Buzzers, E Feighan (Bonnybridge) 4 fish for 11lbs on a Silver Humungus, Jim Linton took 8 fish for 20lbs 8oz on Blobs and Kong from Crieff had a brace for 9lbs 8oz on a Yellow Dancer.
