Had my 1st outing of the year on the Lake of Menteith on Saturday :) Was a beautiful day, gentle breeze and not too bright, caught a rainbow on my second cast on my new comp special Greys 10' 7# fly rod, using an unusual method, rubber lures ! Got my second 20 mins later, two in the boat before my boat ptnr had his 1st ! :) Must have lost half a dozen more due to the hook not being in the right place, the fish were nipping the tail off my lures, need to do some engineering to get it right :) Turned very bright in the afternoon and all the fish disappeared. Finished the day off with a roast suckling pig and a bottle of Lake beer.  :)
