Am really excited about a forth coming fishing competition on the Lake of Menteith, not because for the last 3 years I've won some fabulous silver ware :) Not because last year I and my bro won 5 of the 6 trophies available, not because I am the convenor of fishing for the Skinners and Glovers dated 1516 (my craft) and that's who I will be representing at the Trades house of Glasgow, but because for the first time ever in the history of this prestigious event there will be a lady entering and not just any Lady but my beautiful neice Joanna ! This has been a male dominated competition and on Saturday the 5th of September Joanna will be the first Lady to enter the team  ( fishing for team Skinners and Glovers) I think this is will be an historical event for the Ladies, hopefully start a trend...no pressure then hahaha.
