We at James Bayne fishing tackle sponsor the Lake of Menteith boat league over 15 weeks every Wednesday evening. Last night I took a friend along, we were fishing near loch end chalets when our drogue got caught so we put our rods down and started hauling on the ropes when all of a sudden my friends rod shot of the end of the boat and sped of down the Lake ! Drogue in I started the engine and we chased after it fortunately the handle was still visible so my friend grabbed hold, pulled it out of the water and reeled the fish in, a nice 2.5 lb rainbow ! :)
