Some fantastic rises on the lake this week in the overcast conditions – with catches to match. Last Thursday saw some phenomenal catches with an individual reportedly catching more than 50 to his rod. Buzzer fishing was the key and the air was think with these insects when the wind was calm. Best areas were the Gap, Heronry, Out in the middle (both basins), Road shore and Hotel Bay. The Scottish Police Recreation Assoc, netted 246 with 15 boats on 2/5/15. CBAC took 26 for 66lbs and returned 51 with their 5 boats. Dalzell AC had 32 fish for 81lbs with 5 ½ boats and returned 60+. CIBA of Paisley with 5 boats caught 146.
