A gentleman came into the shop end of last week, he had been fishing the Cambusmore stretch of the river Teith for trout; he had 6lb line and a size 12 Peter Ross fly and caught a fresh run 12lb salmon !
Although the river Teith is back to summer levels there are still fresh salmon and big sea trout about.
The river Leny is right back down!
