It has come to my attention that John Mclean recently passed away, my condolences to his family.
I had the pleasure of fishing with John last year on the Lake of Menteith boat league sponsored by James Bayne fishing tackle, we had a cracking night, within a few mins of being on the water John had a fish within 20 mins he had three to my one and by the end of the evening he had 10 /11 to my 5/6 It was a very enjoyable night, John told me how much he loved fishing the Lake to the extent he would come up and camp the night before just so he could be on the water at the earliest chance.
He will be sadly missed.
