Have been invited to the opening day of the trout season on the Lake of Menteith next Saturday, really looking forward to that, it will be my 1st outing of the year and they have such hard fighting fish looked after so well, Quint and the team do a really good job.
The Lake have been very busy renovating the building and upgrading the facilities, there is now a much bigger car park, a small cafe and shop where you can buy some flies and leader material; of course you can buy these from me and we have a much lager selection and prob cheaper will let you know !
Another very cold morning ice on my windscreen however the local waters seem to be clear, wrap up well.
