Lake of Menteith fishing report

Above; Ladies Captain for the forth coming ladies international, Elaine McCracken, was presented with flowers
for officially opening the fishery. Top right; Nikki Ross was off Reedy Point when she boated this bow. Below
left; a sunburst and a rainbow. Bottom right; Stewart Marshall from
Cambusbarron piped open the fishery and later with an overwintered fish.
Afterwards all were invited for a meal at the Forth Inn where for a bite and a
refreshment. Longest serving
director entertained the
assembly with some
recollections from the when the
fishery opened (as a brown
trout fishery) in the 20’s and
gave a short history of the
company thereafter.

Angler’s should be
aware that the catering
van is non operational
and teas and coffees are
available gratis from
inside the fishery hut.
