Got an invite to fish the opening day of the new season on the Lake of Menteith WOW ! Really looking forward to that one, just hope i can go,  need to speak nicely to my better half, think some chocs and a little pino grigo might do the trick lol.
The rain continues to fall here, no bad thing, the river could do with a top up to help those big springer's waiting to come through.
There are major road works through the centre of Callander (re tarmacking) so beware of lenghty queues,some of the roads round here are awful, didn't think the main street was that bad compared to others in the local vicinity, just shows you how good we are at spending money in the wrong places at the wrong time,enough of the political rant !
