The salmon season has begun! Wah hay. So what will this year bring? Certainly we here at James Bayne are looking forward to a busy and exciting year. We have a lot going on, we are very proud to be sponsoring the boat league competition on the Lake of Menteith, to be held every Wednesday evening 1st prise is a voucher from the shop, everybody is welcome, so all you budding fishers why not come and give it a go.
The salmon permits are available for the river Teith and Fourth, there are a few changes to the rules,

1, All fish must be returned to till the 1st of June,
2,  No live bait after dark.
3,  Barbles hooks to be used once you have kept your allocation of five salmon.
 All other rules remain the same.
 We will keep you posted as to any other rule changes if any.
