Days off?
Fishing in Scotland
Just had my first two days off in a row, since December, what did I do, where did i go, I hear you ask, Fishing!
Well no, unfortunately not yet, I wish; 1st day was spent shopping in Stirling, the usual essentials, dog food, cat food, got to look after the soldiers first! Then me food.
2nd Day..Fishing !..well no. Since the winters is over and Spring has arrived,"you can feel it in the air," my garden is in desperate need of a once over, and being such a glorious day I got my veg patch weeded, and laid out with car tyres,(my brothers idea) for my potatoes to go in! Says it works a treat, we shall see! Will be able to put my onions in the spaces left between the tyres and did a major weed and tidy-up...will be fishing the next time...if my back has recovered...knew there was a reason, I didn't like gardening !lol.
Have my club dates for the season, will be fishing Loch Katrine this year, am really excited about that, as we have not fished Loch Katrine for nearly 10 years, due to the fact that there have been no boats on the water and it's a boat only water; Plus it's a natural Brown Trout water, so no Rainbows, those Brownies really fight hard. I won the cup last year for the heaviest Brown Trout, so will be doing my up most to retain it.
Buy a Salmon, Rod and Reel deal ( choice of top quality gear) and have a day Salmon fishing on our local water.
Buy a Trout, Rod and Reel deal (cracking bit of kit!) and get a Trout permit for the day on our local water
Have been busy with the website, these are the sort of great offers you can expect to get from James Bayne Fishing Tackle, Angling Centre Callander; where we want you, to have fun fishing.

Tight Lines.
