Welcome to the new era of James Bayne fishing tackle shop in Callander Central Scotland on line. Yes we have arrived in the 21st C....at last! lol.

 This is the 1st of hopefully many blogs to keep you guys informed of what's happening on the water and in the shop.

We are really excited about being able to advertise to the world all the wonderful things we do here.

We offer a really  large selection of water for the keen angler to fish, see our where to fish section and map, ALL THESE PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE IN SHOP, our friendly, experienced staff will be able to advise you  on some of the best spots and locations.

We stock all types of baits, maggots, worms, dead bait, pike bait, power bait and pellets and of course Salmon,Trout and Pike flies.

We also hire fishing equipment ie Spinning rods and reels and some fly rods and reels;deposit required.

As you will see, we have many links to Hotels, B&B's, fisheries , Ghillies and guides,all within the local area

We here at James Bayne fishing tackle want you to have a fun filled, relaxing and enjoyable fishing holiday,we are a one stop fishing and outdoor shop.

In the near future, we will hope to be able to offer our own accommodation and exclusive Salmon and Sea trout  fishing to our customers.
