Was invited to the opening day of the Lake of Menteith last Saturday, although it was very cold I had a great day out. I caught 5 fish, should have had 6 ! Kept 3 weighed in at 8lb 6oz mostly caught on blobs and boobies on a Di 6 stripping fairly quick, my boat partner for the day was a chap called Andy and he should have had 15 + was broken a number of times and lost a few just not taking well enough !
Brill day followed by a roast hog on a spit mmmm.
