1st Club Outing
The 1st outing for the Western Angling club was on Friday on the Lake of Menteith I invited a good friend Miller Reed to come along as a guest.
The day turned out to be very variable weather wise on the whole, although a chilly wind we missed the worst of the weather.
The fishing was tough I lost two and caught a small jack pike, my guest caught one on his last cast of the day, think the fish took pity on him !
One member caught two the best result of the day for us ! Not many fish showing believe they must have been deep.
Still we had a fun day catching up and the facilities at the Lake are superb, very tasty bacon roll.
Tight lines everyone.
