Although we've had some very bright days, we desperately need lots of rain to get the river up. It is also very cold in the shadows, with frosts every morning and icy windscreens, this makes the water temp very low and susequently the fish are less active.
Have been hearing reports of some very big fish seen down at Stirling coming in on the tide and going back out!
The sea trout should be arriving soon they were here in March last year in huge numbers!
