Some successes around the river were 2 bright springers , one of them sea liced to Jim Baillies party on the Leny. These are the first opening day fish off the river for many years. Both fish were around 8lbs, 1 caught on flying C and the other on a Willie Gunn.
Understand that a springer was caught on the Cambusmore stretch but have no details yet.
